Expert, of course.
The guys shooting at each other: toss a smoke grenade through the vent shaft you came in, and climb through it. Go around and run behind the two ISDF guys - they won't notice you.
First three NV guys: toss two flashbangs into the room, and run through while they're recovering - takes some luck, but it works.
The bomb room: Extremely difficult. Basically use sticky cams to keep the incoming guards at the entrance while you run around disarming the bombs (firing the cams in a place where they can't shoot it). They'll eventually continue their patrol, so you have to be fast. The last guy can be distracted with firing a sticky cam on the wall - you run through the door while he's checking it out.
Took a lot of time, patience, and quicksaves... :)
Btw, when I ghosted this game, I did it not just withuot killing, and KOing only when it's mandatory, but avoiding to make guards even suspicious (wherever I could). Like perfect ghosting in thief, as much as possible...

Wow. Yeah, you're right, that sounds like a little too much work. Also bordering on exploits with the hidden sticky camera, but still ingenious.
I applaud your persistence, but I think I'll have more fun with less quicksave-quickload-quickload-quickload-quicksave-quickload. I'm still going to play non-lethal where I can, and avoid knockouts when the guys aren't too much of a bother.

Sure thing. But I'll never give up trying to find someone willing to do it as I did. I mean, I
can't be the only one this crazy ... right?

Dude. You should frame that and put it on your wall :D
My xbox controller took some serious damage during that mission. And that wasn't even when ghosting!

No time to play games lately, so I'm not sure when I can get on with the Challenge (I haven't even played SC4). But I'm just posting to let you guys know there's a trailer now out for SC5 ("Conviction"). I must say I'm not happy with the way it's going. It looks very Hitman-like. Not that that's bad, but it isn't what made me love Splinter Cell.

Then again, people have been criticising Splinter Cell for doing the same thing over and over again, just with more polish. Personally, I enjoyed Chaos Theory a lot, but after that one I felt I didn't need yet another game that barely varies the gameplay.

Fuck.
I've been writing and deleting paragraphs for about half an hour now. I just don't know what to say about this something they call Splinter Cell this time. For me Splinter Cell is dead, about as much as Rainbow Six is. And it's especially sad to imagine what they could've done with the old SC formula and "next gen" technology. Damn. They could've at least released an SDK for CT, for those who want to have more of that, but that would probably hurt their sales of new games or feelings or I don't know. Whatever ... I'm done with them.

To me the best Splinter Cell game is the first one. Sure, it's very linear, but it's a fun game. And it looks great. It looked amazing when it came out and it still does. The same cannot be said for the other entires. I'm sure I'll purchase SC5 because it may still be interesting but no doubt it's not Splinter Cell (and not even Hitman).

Agreed.

I won't. I even sold my copy of DA. I'm not supporting this tendency.

This tendency being what? Their attempt to provide more than just a glossy mission pack?
I'm not saying it'll automatically be fantastic. It may fail horribly. But I admire the fact that they try something new after the more than dodgy Double Agent.
