Fig, play on the 2nd highest resolution then :) And don't be shy and start posting about your ghosting accomplishments and stats. This is all good research for my Ghost Challenge Walkthrough I'm starting to write.

I got through Police Station yesterday...Took about 3 times longer than usual. I never worried about little things like after you escape the fire, and have to jump from one balcony/walkway to another, and not making the civ on the street below say "Who is that"? I have to admit, making it through on Hard, w/NOBODY even raising an eyebrow at my presence, not blowing ANY lightbulbs, or knocking out anyone....is tough to get used to....but I did it, and it was incredible.
The part where the 2 cops are roughing up the civ, telling him the "rent" in jail went up, but he can die for free :D ......there is a stairway going down by those colored lanterns. This part made me stop in my tracks. I had NO idea how to ghost it. I always lure them one at a time to ko them in shadow (heh, like the guard says in Thief DS "The best place to hide is in SHADOW") so, I thought about it, and snuck halfway down the stairs, and grabbed the railing and hand-over-handed to the end and mantled up into the bushes. SUCCESS!!! They had NO clue I was there.
This is when it all came togather. I hit escape and just sat there for a second and realized how fun this is going to be!!! I made it through the entire thing w/one KO. And that was the guy standing and staring at the last PC you "hack" before you escape in the van. No alerts, no property damage (i.e. shattered bulbs, bottles, etc..).

Did you know by the way that there an alternate route, where you can pass them completely undetected?
There is a ledge over the cops you can use...
Well....I think it's obvious I was clueless about that!!!! LOL, Thanks!! Good tip. I am going to reload my save and try to find it(alt. route). Thanks guys for helping renew my interest in SC. I need to re-install Pandora Tomorrow. I don't have Chaos Theory. I have too many games here unfinished. I might ask for it for Xmas.

I'm really happy you're enjoying it, and "got" it, Fig!
As far as Georgia, I think it's one of my all-time favorite levels in SC. The first level is easy, and you can really practice your stealth here. And Malleus, as many times as I played through this, I never knew there was an alternate route - I always did what Fig has done. Of course it works, but I'll try finding it when I replay (I'm gonna try and ghost it 100%, without KOing the "PC cop").
By the way, Fig, I think the no-property-damage rule can be bent, because there are some places where you cannot hide anywhere and need to create darkness. Speaking of which, Fig, I'm curious how you ghosted the place right before you eneter the Police Station, with one guard and one man in an appartment to the side. I had a hard time ghosting past them with lights out :)

HI I'm from Kazakhstan and my English not very good! I'm a fan of all Splinter Cell ! And passed all of them, now by ghosting I have just passed Oil Tanker, it was extremely hard level first time I managed grab one person!!. But my favourite level is in Georgia!

I welcome another GC participant! Post your progress and stats.
Also, just wanted to say that I'll be on vacation from 11/30 to 12/12, so it's up to Malleus to keep this thread going ;) I might check in every now and then, though...
P.S.: Still haven't moved from the spot I stopped, Malleus. I tried what you said, but the guards in the next room see me crawling on the beam and shoot me down.

Two weeks? Tough one, but I'll manage :D

The room with three guards? Knock out the middle and the further away one, and you'll get through. As for the next room, you just have to time your movement and you can pass above the guard.
EDIT: Yay! Just managed to complete the Police Station level completely undetected! :D Distracting the last cop was very easy compared to other parts of the game.
I just had to throw a coke can to the (closed) door I came in. He moved over to the door and stood there for a bit. That was more than enough time to move inside and hack the computer and move to the dark corner near it (yes, I didn't exit the room). The cop calmed down and moved back to the computer, and all I had to do is sneak out (you can easily move out from the dark corner, because it's just outside his FOV).
One more level to Total Stealth! I've updated my stats on the second page.

You rock, Malleus! That's what I was gonna do, but I still want to finish the game first before going over some of my trouble spots I've had. Glad to have it confirmed that another KO can be avoided!

Poroshin:I don't remember exactly the situation you are talking about just from memory. Is it the guy right before you wall jump to the top of the tall stone wall and hit a loading screen?
