Spiral Stairs tutorial

I was just looking for a spiral staircase guide and my brain was making 0 sense of the tips I found, this is great timing. That first method seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

I wish I'd seen this a year ago.
I've been doing method 2 one step at a time @ 11.25 degrees.
To me, method 3 seems like just extra work. (OK I'm lazy)
I've got a double helix staircase I'd like to show off, but no mission for it. If anyone is interested.
