I have read SS2 fiction by Ken Levine and I'd have an important question in connection with it: What on earth is a spin-vac :confused: ? I've searched all over on Google and Yahoo, but it showed only puctures of "pumps" or something. The only thing what is clear to me that it is some kind of public transport vehicle. Could anyone give me a description and/or a picture about this thing? I would be very, very grateful!

I think it's a made up term.
When reading the story I imagined it like the tubes they use in Futurama for public transport. Considering the speed Delacroix mentions you'd have to capsule passengers I guess.
