I don't think the music-threads in Comm Chat are realy bothering anyone enough to warrant a separate forum. Besides, a forum especialy for music would probably encourage all kinds of self-indulgence with people making whole threads about whatever they happen to be listening to this second.
edit: Oh, but how about a "Creative Forum" or something like that. Where people can show of their own music/artwork/animations/stuff and discuss techniques/software and maybe even there could be some sorta "weekly art/music contests" and stuff? A lot of forums have stuff like that.

There's enough musical elitism and self indulgent posting of lyrics/band urls as it is.
And in response to henke's edit, that's a fair enough idea but not what I (nor many others I imagine) come to TTLG for. There are external fora for creative pursuits, I think people should keep their internet zones separate personally.

Yeah, there are plenty of forums for creative types out there on the net and I'm part of a few myself. But I still like the idea of seeing what my fellow TTLGers can do. I'm sure there are plenty of creative people here, but most of em are hesitant to post their stuff here unless it's directly associated with Thief/SS/DX. And it's not like just coz we have a creative forum TTLG is going to be overrun with musicans and artists who care nothing about LGS and are merely here for creative scene.
btw if you guys DO make a creative forum can I be mod plz? Coz I think that it would realy piss off a lot of people who have been here longer than me and are more qualified and that would be funny.

It is difficult to say exactly what TTLG is these days. Many members just hang out in CommChat and General Gaming. It's not really entirely and LGS tribute site either, or we wouldn't have the Morrowind stuff, say. The combination of things here is a bit odd, in fact...
