I'll keep that in mind stich even though you weren't easy to understand(too many big words), the dissapointing thing is venom might be like a last battle. The whole reason I would see this movie is to see venom.

Actually, I haven't started a celeb death thread here for over a year. I check in and read threads here at least 5x a week and have participated in numerous non-death oriented threads since then.
I'm not surprised any longer, though, that people here seem to forget my existence. I just don't have the kind of energy to be as witty/weird/knowledgable/confrontational or self pitying as consistently as it requires to make a real dent here. Got some of all those qualities but it's a bit more of a jack-of-all-trades scenario, so I've basically made my peace with the fact that I'm out of my depths.
BTW, rampant curmudgeon-ality notwithstanding (it's the hallmark of TTLG com-chat) I like most all of the regulars here: including ZB, RBJ and, yes, you.

Actually, likewise, homes. I'd also miss ZB if he didn't post so damn much.

l trust raimi, and after the success of 1 and 2 he should hopefully have enough clout to keep the executive producer/studio executive fuckheads from crotching this up. as for sequels, raimi was signed to make three more movies after this one sometime last year. this, by the way, is the reason why the remake/continuation of the evil dead canon is effectively staked and buried.
[l still think the evil dead/phantasm crossover proposed by tom savini would have been the way to go]

...But then again, who thought that X-Men 3 was going to have the....I won't even try and spell it(Mutant Hunting Robots)...
Mutant Hunting Robots? I just watched that movie and I can't recall anything of the sort. Am I just really forgetful of that movie or are you getting at some far-out reference I just don't get?
And ZB, sarcasm or no, you initiated this shit so don't play high and mighty here. I seem to recall noob bashing beeing one of the few rules around here, or has this one fallen from mod attention like the rest of them?

The former, definitely.
Remember the giant robot Wolverine decapitated in the danger room at the start of the movie?
Noob bashing has NEVER been the rule. Dumbass bashing, however, is. The fact that noobs have a higher-than-average chance of behaving in a dumbass-ish manner has confused many weak-minded individuals on this subtle distinction.
ON TOPIC: The Sentinel cameo in X3 was just another example of that movie's overall incoherent randomness. Why would the Danger Room be simulating an enemy that doesn't even exist in the film's real world?

But don't you guys worry, because ZylonBane is right there to help prove that people who've been here a while can act like a dumbass too! :thumb:
