yea, but it's not the details I'm worried about(idea of spiderman's webbing) but it's more like the inspiration of the characters (spiderman's best friend becoming hop goblin) that'll get to me

Even if Harry is the Hobgoblin, remember there's a precedent - Ultimate Hobgoblin.
