Actually, the spiderbots at least go downstairs. I was trying to throw one through a window but I didn't aim right. It then followed me down the stairs. Don't know if it would go upstairs, but reason says it could with all the jumping around it does.

I noticed that too- it defeats the purpose of building a bot with LEGS if it can't go up or down stairs or over obstacles. otherwise it should just have treads or wheels

Dude, but then it wouldn't be a
spiderbot. Giving it legs isn't for practical purposes, but solely so you can give it the spider classification.
