Hes just pissed off cause everyone hated the the first two of the 3 new Star Wars movies.
Just got back from seeing the movie. At the end of the day I really enjoyed it, but when the movie got to the dancing bit I was wondering where in the hell the movie was going. Alot of the people nearby to me in the cinema were making similar remarks at that point. Why he had to go totally emo around that point was just wrong. Soon after the movie found its direction again and the rest was good.
Venom coming and going so quickly I didn`t like though. He definately should have got a much larger part. Bruce Campbell as always was excellent and had everyone in the cinema laughing.

Saw it. I thought the action was good but there are just too much soap opera in this installment. While I agree that the drama is what made Spidey (the comic) so great, it just should not be in a movie with Venom as the bad guy. Come on! It's Venom! We want to see more actions!
And what happened to Spider sense?
[SPOILER]
He was oblivious to the symbiote when it first hitch a ride on his motorbike after the obligated love scene with MJ. In fact, both of them must be so blind that they did not hear/see a meteor landing just a few meters away!
Peter was grabbed by Harry from behind while riding his bike. Love struck again?

Saw Spidey 3 last night. Definitely the worst of the three.
The beginning and the end were truly nauseating slush that wouldn't have been out of place in a chick-flick.

I just saw it.
Belfong, in the comics Spiderman's spider-sense doesn't work against the symbiote because it knows him and can somehow prevent it from working. That is after they bonded though, so I don't know how it managed to evade detection. They seem to have forgotten about his extra sense for danger there.
When he was riding his bike though, he was really not ready for any kind of combat, with his head up in the clouds. I do however think I saw a kind of "what?" look on his face just before he got hit by Hobgoblin.
I agree that Toby Maguire isn't really the guy I'd want to play Spider-man. He's just not cocky enough, and sounds kind of ... slow. For that matter, the guy that plays Venom should really have been more of a tough guy in my opinion. Like some kind of young Schwarzenegger without the accent.
I still like the (

Saw it tonight. It was actually a lot closer to being a decent movie than I expected, but due to a conspicuous lack of editing it is most definitely the weakest of the three. The whole Sandman bit should've been cut, there was absolutely no need for the guy (aside from the now-obligatory HAY GUYZ LOOK CGI) and I'm more than a little irritated at the way it so casually fucked with the Spiderman continuity. Venom himself wasn't nearly as bad-ass as he should've been; on a scale of 1 to 10, that guy is look the fuck out, so seeing him taken out so easily was a letdown. Topher Grace seemed to be playing Eric Foreman playing Eddie Brock, which was also disappointing, and is it just me or did Mary Jane Watson really come across as a superficial and distinctly unlikeable bitch? The action scenes were fast-paced and multi-angled, as modern summer cinema demands, and also dull as fuck and completely lacking in any kind of visceral excitement. (HAY GUYZ LOOK CGI!!!11!) When the Venomized Parker finally gave in to his newfound pseudo-stardom, climaxing in the jazz club scene, I honestly started to wonder if the movie had slipped into some kind of weird parody mode, and would somebody please tell me what the fuck Gwen Stacy was doing there?
Tobey continued to be very strong in the Spiderman role (I have no idea wtf you guys are talking about, him not being "cocky" outside his Spiderman persona is kind of the point), JK Simmons had a funny bit but seemed rather held back in comparison to the first two movies, and everyone else offered up varying levels of acceptably half-decent performances. A few minor changes in the script, backed up by some major editing work - the movie needs to shed 30 minutes at a bare minimum, and I'd be happy to see even more go - and you could have a very strong third movie, with Spiderman confronting an incredibly powerful yet charismatic villain in Venom, while Peter Parker continues his every-day personal growth in a world that's still kicking his ass. Instead, we get a shitload of things happening, none of which are very interesting, and no time to appreciate any of it - pretty well exactly the same thing that made such a mess of the third X-Men movie.
However, Bruce Campbell/Ted Raimi ftw

I get that he's supposed to be a nerd outside of the costume, but he wasn't making enough wisecracks at his foes in the costume either.
I agree that Sandman should have been left out.

Hard to work in that sort of witty comic-book dialogue when you're cranking out blindingly-fast-paced CGI fights that are damn near impossible to follow in the first place. And this one was all about Peter Parker's Personal Problems anyway, not exactly conducive to snappy patter with a super-powered foe.

I endured it earlier tonight. My synopsis:
1) PP gets black shit on him (Where did it come from? Why? What? Look! Shiny CGI!)
2) MJ is a bitch whore (like in the other 2 and in RL)
3) Toby McGuire cries
3) Undecipherable action sequences with 1997 era shaky handcam!!!!
4) Toby McGuire cries again
5) Quick! We have 15 minutes left! Shove the entire Venom story arc in there like a fat guy making a buffet run at the 11th hour.
6) More crying. Suck it up you big pussy, you're a superhero.
7) Aunt Mae quoting Yoda, except more inane. Everyone cries again. Including me. I paid $7 for this unedited shit-fest?
Seriously. Give me the parts with Bruce Campbell, the OR scene with Doc. Oc from S2, and leave the rest. Raimi's directing abilities have become questionable at best.
