What exactly happens when you try to load the spells?

Its not that i try to load the spells as such, its just when the game begins loading my save file it comes up with a couple of error messages saying: unable to load spell (brown rot) and two other spells i dont remember...........
I never changed any settings i just loaded up my game as normal, and before that everything was fine. its ok, its no major bad, just wondered why a game would do this?????
Just a little confused

It sounds like a variation on the classic “unable to load container xxxxx ...” and such as I have seen. Likely someone else is better qualified to explain what that error means. My experience (and suspicions thereby arising) makes me thing that is this due to a memory leak not yet critical enough to cause the game to crash to desktop, but close. Your most recent save, and perhaps a few further back are thus corrupted. I'm not certain that there is anything ‘fatal' about the error, but it is certainly annoying and delays the loading of the saved games. When it has occurred to me, I've restarted my computer and loaded a saved game that wasn't saved while that problem was resident. Perhaps you can continue to play without any serious problems, but if it is not too inconvenient, you might reload an uncorrupted saved game. Good luck.
