Was inspired by a thread gone to Morrowind :cheeky: .
Kidding.
As soon as I was said to be able to use a jorneyman level of restoration spells, I noticed that my magika isn't being restored after using an Apprentice level spells. It is only when I sleep - waiting isn't working....Any thoughts why?

How very odd. :erg: You don't have any damage magicka effects going on at the moment?

No...I doubt it...It's been a long time since I fought last. Or perfomed any spellcraft myself :(

Is it only apprentice level restoration spells that cause the problem, or all apprentice spells? Plus, your star sign isn't Atronach, is it? (I'm sure that isn't the problem but it's worth asking about.)

Let me check....
EDIT: No. It's alteration. Conjuration. Destruction. All. :(

Hmm. Any mods that change spell effects around?
Do you have a saved game from when you didn't have journeyman level skill? You may have to go back to it. :erg:

I'm afraid not... Well, if it's some magika damage action, I hope it's not forever. It shall pass... If not.... oh...:(

Any diseases? Astral Vapors prevents magicka from regenerating. Or maybe anything else, like an enchanted item, giving you a Stunted Magicka effect?

I thought of that, but wouldn't it show in the upper right corner of the screen that I'm diseased or being under influence of some sort?

Not necessarily - check the 'Spell Effects' tab in the magic menu.
