I couldn't care less about Speed Racer or Iron Man; my nostalgia fix will be the 50th anniversary DVD of Perry Mason. Love those old B&W shows. I even like the books, pure fluff, but good fluff.

Normally I'd ignore critical reviews, but it seems that I'll wait to rent this. Apparently it really is for kids and not for the kids at heart. :/

I don't think kids are going to be that interested in it either. None of them will remember the show and racing cars alone isn't a big enough hook, I think, to pull in the kids. Especially with the gaudy 'arty' visual style. Sure kids like bright, bold colors etc but more along the lines of 'Cars' than this.
