whats the point of spears? do they actually keep enemies away from you or soemthing at higher skills? i see a point to all the different types of weapons short swords are quicker but less powerfull than longswords, axes are a little slower but usualy stronger than longswords, but i dont see what the point of a spear it, to me it just looks like an axeish stat with a different look

I made my new orc warrior with axes, blades and spears, with the main point of spears to help boost my endurance for leveling. But I believe the main point of spears is the extended reach. If you back away and attack with a spear, you should be able to keep the enemy away and do damage at the same time.
