Hello. I am in yet another technical difficulty.
I ordered a customized desktop from CyberpowerPC.com with an Apevia (X-Sniper, G-Type) case. But I didn't get any extra HDD rails.
I recently bought a 1TB HDD from NewEgg and need extra rails to put them in. I contacted CyberpowerPC in the hopes of getting rails compatible with my case, but they said they discontinued that chassis. So of course, I wrote to the manufacturer, Apevia, but the guy says they'll sell them to me if I give them my credit card info (name, number, expiration date, billing address, shipping address, along with CVC code at the back).
That kinda spooks me, and they say they don't do Paypal. I could of course, do a money order or a check (which would take longer). Has anyone had to provide credit card info like this? Is it safe? Am I asking to be ripped-off?
So far, ordering form the manufacturer seems like my best bet but I get a shady feeling about this. Are there any websites/stores that sell HDD rails? I couldn't find any on Newegg (also, the Apevia website didn't have them).
I heard that not all HDD rails are the same though. What is a common/standard size for my desktop (which is a midtower).
Thank you so very much! Really appreciated.

That's pretty standard for here in the UK. Every time I set up a card on Amazon, I have to enter all these things. I guess it depends where the manufacturer is based.
If you're after rails to convert one of the CD/DVD slots to hold a hard drive, then you can buy them quite cheaply e.g. (
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817994073) here at newegg, or another type (
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817998070) here.
Personally I have a rubber-shielded one like (
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=38013) this to minimise noise, but I couldn't find one at newegg.
Edit - there are two different types of rails, as there are two different types of hard drive size. Laptops use 2.5" hard drives, desktops 3.5". Make sure you buy rails that convert 3.5" to 5.25" which is the size of DVD drives. The other kind of rails let you use laptop hard drives in a desktop case, which is useful but not what you're after here. (This is assumiung you have bought a normal 3.5" hard drive rather than a laptop one!)

Thanks for the reply, Brian. I also found out that NZXT (they're famous for making cases) sell some cheap HDD rails on their website. Would you recommend me buying some (for their midtower case) and hope it'll fit mine even though mine is a different manufacturer?
P.S.-Apevia and NZXT are both based in the USA. It's more common for American online transactions to have Paypal. It's seen as especially fishy if they ask us for cred card info via email.

They're a standard piece of kit, so they should work in all cases, so just buy the cheapest one. Since you've got a screwless case, that's a bit non-standard so you may need to unscrew the fancy blue things in the 5.25" bays :) If you're not sure, and the Apevia people price is not too bad, then you may want to go for them as you know it'll work.
For the credit card, I'd DEFINITELY recommend doing it over the phone or via a secure (HTTPS) online system, NOT by email as that's not encrypted at all. If anyone gets hold of these details, they can use your card online. Of course, you won't be liable and the card company will lock the card when suspicious activity happens, but its still hassle. I was a bit astonished when I last visited the US, they didn't check my card at all, except at one shop that wanted photo-ID.
