We banned him and I told him to get lost. All is well. Thread closed.
Oh, sure ,everytime someone spammes me I ban him from my mailbox, tell him "Get lost" and all is well...how naive :(
Saam, don't take this personal, but have a look at this: (
http://bloodgate.com/spams/) - you see, my strategy really works. I really got no spam at all! (I cannot decide whether I should no include a ;-) or a :-( smiley here *sigh*
Anyway, banning spammers, filtering them, hiding from them does not work. Never. Just like security trough obscurity never works.
So, please don't say all is well! Okay? Oh, well, I mean, if you said you dragged him to court and won, then, well, then you may use the phrase "all is well" ;o)
Oh, and please no discussions. Spammers aren't worth them ;o)
Cheers,
Te"desparate lunging for a spam-free mailbox - just for one week!"
PS: The stats above do not count the spam I get at my account at work- it is about 100 msg/month and quickly rising despite the fact the the address there is no longer in use.
PPS: No more replies from me ;)

Well, considering the fact that I get 20+ spam mails a day at my permanent email address, I'm pretty fed up as well. But don't take my statement too literally. All is well as in all is well regarding that dude that spammed for that one morning.
