That's just too cramped. Daleks have more room to work with and they are effectively alien spazmos. The carpet is also horrible. I guess that's what happens when you let Star Trek geeks do interior design.

It's still a call centre.
And it must be annoying for the employee to be so cramped in there despite there being plenty of space around the booth.

Better a cockpit than a cubicle row, I think. It's precisely the lack of other pods abutting the workspace that makes it look pretty fluid to me. They're a little close, sure, but I like that in a work environment.

Symantec's Security Operations Center, more like Symantec CTU.

First thing I was reminded of was OCP Police Headquarters :weird:

"I'd buy that for a dollar!!"
But I agree that that contraption have a tangibly dystopian atmosphere hanging over it. For me, though, I'm having flashbacks to the Combine's Civil Protection from Half-Life 2.
Edit: Putting the
very sterile appearance aside, the I would really mind working in a futuristic rig like this.
Like GBM said, it would almost certainly beat a cubicle.
Pick up that can!

I would love to have that pod setup in my house, especially if there is a way to motorize the whole thing so that I don't have to get my lazy ass off of the chair to fix myself a snack.

It looks a bit cramped but I imagine there's some leg room there, which is the important part

The thing with cubicles is that they block sound.
I don't see how these things block any sound at all, unless there's some space age tech that I don't understand at work.
