Long time lurker. I also miss the kinds of thought provoking discussions and posts that used to appear on TTLG and other gaming forums a decade ago. It seems most them fall in one of two categories these days: ghost towns or corporate hug boxes where anything that doesn't fall within the narrow company line is sanitized.
I haven't used fb in years and now I keep in touch with friends through email and phone calls, which is much more satisfying. After not seeing someone for awhile and finding out what is going on in their lives is so much better than receiving a wall of impersonal news bulletins.
