Maybe I was misinterpreting the tone of your post, but in fact, you're right. There are both men and women who behave irresponsibly, and before abortion it was only the guy who could chuck the consequences of his actions down the garbage (so to speak). The woman was stuck with a baby she didn't want and who didn't have a father. In that sense, abortion did equalize things.
And I can't see why you think it's a GOOD idea for such an irresponsible person to breed.

It does give the person a chance to be more responsible or to learn to be more responsible by having to care for another,by taking the time and effort to raise a human being,rather than simply throwing it away.After all you have to devalue something before you throw it out.

Our states aren't allowed to do anything without the boot-stamp of the federal government all over it. We don't believe in freedom around these parts.

Do you mean the freedom of the state to restrict people's freedoms freedom or the freedom to make your own choices type of freedom?
