Hey All!
Well, I haven't posted here in a while. Still making SS1 remixes along with some original stuff. Keepin' busy, living life...
I know most of you like a good scare, or you wouldn't have played a System Shock game. I have a scary soundtrack I like to play during Trick-or-Treat on Halloween. I put it together using a bunch of soundbytes and some music from movies, sound effects CDs, and games, including SS2. I put it on my website so a few friends can get a copy and thought some here might appreciate a good scare. There's a 3.5mb MP3 demo ((
http://www.chicajo.com/dl_direct/details.php?file=51) here) because the full version ((
http://www.chicajo.com/dl_direct/details.php?file=50) here) is over 40mb, which is WMA10Pro encoded because of better fidelity in the mix. I probably won't keep it up too long so if you're interested check out the links above. Go ahead, I dare you! ;)
Peace!

I love good scares. :sly:
My download will only take 5 - 6 minutes so soon I'll find out if your description matches the file.

Yes Speaking of Halloween I have setup a small handheld media player with a list of once grunt sounds. I can walk around and play them as I scare people.
I also made a CD that is going to play on halloween night with different sounds from the CD including the screams and the baby crying.

I listened to a big part of this WMA and it sounds great. :D
How long did it take you to make it?

Thanks, Bjossi.
I started this about 3 years ago with a cheap Walmart Halloween Sounds CD, added the background storm, and some various noises. Each year I've added to it like the Elm Street sequence, the Halloween theme, the Evil Dead sequence, etc. This year, for some reason, Silent Hill inspired me. I've played all the games except SH1 and the music (if that's what you can call some of it) in those games was downright scary. When the movie came out on DVD, which was so-so, I couldn't resist. So, the additions I made this year were mostly Silent Hill related, minus the bits and pieces I pulled from the Exorcist and SS2. For this year alone I think I worked on it every day for week, 2 - 3 hours at a time. The hardest part was ripping and tweaking all those clips. But after watching a few kids running from my house it's all worth it. :sly:
Have a terrifying Halloween!
Peace!

As always great work....
...now to find a winamp plugin that lets you play WMA files.

It should play them out of the box.

Halloween this year was awesome!
I went as a once grunt and carried a lead pipe with a red painted tip.
I played the once grunt sounds on a portable media player attached to my belt as I walked around.
"Can you help me pleasssseee? they huuurt me so baddddd"

Not me, no halloween in Iceland. :(
But we do go trick-or-treating sometime in March though, a different tradition with the same price. :p
