Yeah, but if it's not his computer he might have trouble using it.
I'm probably wrong, but I'm getting a deep feeling of Student Microlab on this.
Still, a USB external HD isn't that much either, if such things are likely to work in this case.

External USB hard drives are fine as long as you don't intend to play from it. :p I use one to store backups of my WIP and I have installed programs on it when speed isn't important. No reason you couldn't install T3 and then delete all the unnecessary files (and registry keys.)

Okay peeps! I've got another system to try to install on. I've read the FAQ and the other threads about extraction software, so the first step is the installation. I'll post back to let you know how far I get. Thanks for the responses!

Game's installed and plays fine! Can't get caught up in playing it, though.:p
Next up: Downloading and using SoundDrone.:thumb:

Sound Drone is working!
But what a pain in the patoot! I wish I could copy the transcriptions off the panel without typing them all out by hand. At least I can visually scan the texts for more names for the Encyclopaedia Project.
Thanks, everybody.
Now I've got to figure out why I can't play the extracted *.ogg's....

Try MediaCoder. It's free and can convert to wav, mp3, or anything you want.

Thanks, I'll go have a look-see....:)

Were some of the ogg's not blank, because of how the schema's work - like it expects an ogg for wav files too so it has a name it knows, even though it' actually plays the wav?
Or is that just when you're creating new sounds?
