Ok I've just been thinking about the various creatures that inhabit Morrowind and how powerful they are and how strong their soul is.
Is it true the more powerful / dangerous a creature is the more powerful their soul is?
The reason I ask is when looking at the costs of summon spells I noticed that for example a 'summon Hunger spell' costs less than a 'summon storm atronach spell'.
This would suggest to me a storm atronach is a stronger creature than a Hunger hence the higher cost BUT a Hunger has a soul of 250 points while a storm atronach has a soul worth 150 points.
I've always thought that atronachs are 'lesser' daedra and as such the suggestion that a storm Atronach is stronger than a Hunger seems wrong - am I right to question this?
I suppose what I'm really asking is for someone to rank the various enemies you can face in Morrowind by how lethal they are to your character.
Once complete I could see whether the strength of a creature's soul is directly proportionate to how dangerous the creature is.
To give you some examples I'll list some creatures in no particular order with the strength of their souls next to them.
Ascended Sleepers (400)
Ash Ghoul (250)
Daedroth (195)
Dagoth Anything-Except-Ur (250-400)
Dahrk Mezalf (400) - a pumped up Dwarven Spectre
Dremora Lord (200)
Dwarven Spectre (200)
Golden Saint (400)
Hunger (250)
Lame Corprus (160)
Molag Grunda (350) - a pumped up Winged Twilight
Ogrim (165)
Skeleton Champion (200)
Storm Atronach (150)
Vivec (1000)
Winged Twilight (300)
Yagrum Bagarn (200) - the "last living dwarf"
As you can see a Daedroth has a far weaker soul (195) than a Hunger (250) but it has a reputation as being far more dangerous; you'd expect a Hunger would cost more to summon but in fact it is more expensive to learn the ‘summon daedroth spell' than it is to learn the ‘summon hunger' spell.
What's going on?

No idea, but I've noticed this as well. Also I've seen Bull Netch souls that are anywhere from 10 to 100.
