Biker: Why not turn your resolution down just one level? 1600 * 1200 is a bit over the top--I don't think you'll really see much difference. And it might get rid of the stutter, too.

I tried it at 1280*1024, and it did make an improvment but the stutter was still there to a point. And ffs, is it too much to ask that a 1 yr old game run properly on my top end setup like...???!!! (not having a go at you, rather the software houses)
The reason Im running 16x12 is because the game dosent support AA with HDR - unless you know of a way top force AA (which some people have managed - but I dont know if there is any truth in it...)
Damn game devs, coding games that are so bloated and overspec'd to the point it cant run adequately on the recomeneded hardware, let alone top end edge kit 1 year later...
This is deliberate market tactics via the hardware makers (ati/nvidia) forcing the game devs to make games almost unplayable on contemporary mainstream hardware forcing people to upgrade when there is nothing wrong with the kit they already have....
