Afternoon
I have the Azura Star stone, ive tried figuiring out how to us it to trap souls, but nothing I have found thus far tells me exactly what to do - what steps to take to trap a soul etc. I know that soul gems can be used to recharge enchanted items etc
many thanks

to trap the soul of a creature you slay (you need to kill to trap a soul), you must first cast a "soul trap" spell on it, or have an enchated item that has the "soul trap" ability
so if you se a goblin, you cast on it the "soul trap" spell, then you kill it, and it's souls goes in azuras star.
also, you can summon a zombie or something, cast "soul trap" on it, then kill it and you'll get another soul.
whit a "soul trap" enchated weapon you don't have to worry about casting the spell (until the enchanted weapon looses it's charges of course). as long as you attack whit that weapon and kill a creature whit it, the creature's soul will go in azuras star.

To clarify the point: In order to trap a creature's soul, you need to kill the critter *while* it is being affected by a Soul Trap spell or enchantment effect.

Are you running this on your 8800 Biker? If so, (if you've got all the details maxed out), how's it running? Any choppies at all?
It runs great on my 8600GTS, but there's still a little choppiness in a few areas. Mostly when I'm near alot of buildings in the same area.

Hi Sluggs
Yeah, On the 8800GTX, along with 3.6ghz Core duo, 2gb-DDR2-1100, 3x80gb raid-0. I`m running the game at 1600*1200 with everything max'd and its runs almost flawlessly. But can you beleive even with a 170mb/sec raid array, the game still Fcking stutters when loading new area's, which happens mostly in the wilderness area's.
So even on bleeding edge system, a 1 year old game is still having issues. So as a lot of people are saying - software houses are deliberatly coding to be bloaty and slow forcing us to upgrade. Thus proving that they are cahoots with nVidia/Amd etc. Its fcking rediculous, the same game runs on a xbos 360 with lower spec than my pc, so wtf cant it run on my pc without stuttering etc. - bunch of arse
Other than that Im enjoying the game, ive spent 3 entire weekends in a row playing this game... sometimes the views are simply awesome...
Has anyone else been vistied by the dark brotherhood - Im considering wether to join up or not...

the dark brotherhood must be one the coolest factions you can join in this game. I'd recommend joining them (because there's a lot of fun involved), but it's up to you and what you want your character to be (good or evil or pure hero or antui-hero or severly evil or too much of a goody god or anything else that might come to your mind :))

I like the sound of that then, thus far I am the grand champion of the arena, have 2 houses, (shack on the imperial waterfront and a Mansion in Skingrad) I like the sound of being a god guy with underground connections, so I can beNd the law when it suits...
