Are these the only soul gem sizes, or are there any larger?
Petty, Lesser, Common, Greater and Grand.
Also, anyone know of a good place to get emtpy Grand soul gems ? Found some in cave south of Pelagiad but i need more :-)

Somewhat West of Balmora you'll find an abandoned shack on a tiny island. It is full of things that are just out of sight. A lute, a Drum, coins under the floorboards... and a Grand Soul Gem in the back corner. You'll need to pick up a few items before the gem is visible.

More spoiler:
If I remember correctly I think the Televannis had a few grand soul gems in their vault in Vivec.
I dunno, maybe it's the creatures I'm trapping, but does anyone else notice that when you have all gem sizes, that nothing seems to want to go into the "greater" and "minor" gems? I find myself with filled Commons, Petty's, and Grand's, but not the two intermediate sizes.... a bit odd, don'tcha think?

I've actually only captured creatures in the greater gem. I'd really like to know if there is a pattern for which gem is chosen.

I think each soul has a specific size gem it will fit in (or range). So unless you are killing rats or something, the souls you are trying to trap won't fit into the small gems. And if you aren't fighting really nasty stuff, then the grand ones won't get filled.

The azura star is the highest soul gem and is reusable, I'm not sure if it is from a quest, or if it isn't even accessable without the editor.

When you cast soul trap on a creature, and kill it it's soul is automatically transferred to the smallest soul jem in your inventory that it will "fit" into. Since only pansy creatures go into the lesser or pretty ones, I usually don't mess with 'em. And everything except the spanktacular creatures (Winged Twilight, Hunger, etc) will fit into a greater or "normal" soul jem.

Yeah, you can get Azura's Star in a quest.
