So...new Thief, in VR, with Stephen Russell's Garrett

So there's a new Thief game coming out for PSVR2. Here's the trailer:

That's absolutely Garrett's mech eye at the end, and I have to confess I had almost forgotten just how much I loved Stephen Russell's Garrett voice.
VR isn't usually my jam, but I really, really hope this is good enough to revive the franchise, and I might just get a psvr2 rig if the game ends up being good enough.

I looked for another post about this and didn't see one, so apologies if I'm being repetitive here.

I can't help but be excited for this. I've wanted Thief in VR for pretty much ever. Vertigo has a solid VR track record, and say what you will about Eidos Montreal, but they've made a lot of good games, and they almost got it right with Thief 2014. So bring it on!

Anyone who played a bunch of Thi4f able to say how much of this trailer looks cribbed from it in some form? The frame feeling looks very familiar at least.

I did legitimately get chills hearing Stephen Russell's Garrett voice again.

Seems like this is maybe memory-holing whatever happened in Thief (2014)?

question then becomes is this a part 2 of the reboot? or a new telling of thief with a girl and garrett?, or could it be thief4 continued storyline? so 3 possible options
