By the way, have you ever seen the movie (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j71H1GG1Kn4) Wolfen? It's a good horror film, set in the South Bronx, just before the new housing projects in 1981. It's has wolves, Cherokee Indians and spirituality. Thought this might interest you.
I saw that when I was like..ten, and it scared the shit out of me. Plus it features a wolf doing a 'flying throat-savaging' so damn hardcore it BEHEADS the dude.
Plus Albert Finney! Always good.
But still, do not watch when ten years old.

The story sucks because it's too black & white. It doesn't serve as useful advice of any sort because in real life anger can be good, regret and guilt can be justified and necessary to get on with life, etc. That clean cut between good & evil never existed. It has however been used in christian religion, a lot. Your story and religion have a few things in common: They march in with the claim to be helpful or to make you think. And they both fail. Don't see it that way? Here's (
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/father-john-bakas/feeding-two-wolves-the-st_b_107954.html) a priest telling your story as if it was straight from the book.
Most aphorisms and parables be general guidlines arg. You ever read the I Ching? So general it could fit any situation. Hell, even The Art of War was damned general. Never once did it tell me not to poke myself in the eye with a stick before battle. Okay, maybe the sun at your back thing was in that vien but you get the point. It is general exactly to fit most situations.
Just because good and evil shade from black to white doesn't mean black and white don't exist. Lets say at one end of the spectrum is smart and at the other is ass. Right in the middle is pretty funny actually. The problem comes in when you lose sight in all the gray and find yourself squarely in the ass. Yeah, not a problem for most here. What was I thinking?
As regards the OP the message is that we are what we think. It's a good one. What we dwell on is what we become. It's simple but sometimes people need to be reminded. Particularly people with wolves in them.

Thanks
Tocky. Some people just don't get it. What you put into life is what you get out of it.
Schmaltzie, true. Simplistic, true. Factual, too true.

Sorry Blackman- it's just not edgy enough for us. Got anything with penis euphemisms and midget hookers? Gotta know your audience, dude.

One evening an old Cherokee indian told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two 'midget hookers' inside us all.
'Yes, grandpapa, I can see that.'

You handle that very well. I don't think I, or any other could do it as well as you do. :thumb::thumb: :)

emo craigslist>for sale/wanted>free
Black/White bitsa wolf pups free to good home (OR BAD, LIKE I GIVE A FUCK JUST HELP ME!)
Dozens to choose from. various sizes.
Pedigree: Parents don't seem to get along at all; black one attacks postman (and pretty much everything actually). white howls at ambulances non stop.
Constant bickering, nipping, whimpering etc.
Tried separation, discipline & all manner of old wives tales. Only made things worse. Varying diets caused further rivalry.
Note: Punishment and food restriction of black strand tends to cause resentment, agression & burying everything in sight. Coddling the white strand produces bad joints, a glassy eyed look and terrible penchant for distributing literature to the neighbours.
None of this made a scrap of difference come season time. Oho no
So, all likely to make excellent breeders.
Best kept in pairs (more, while not unheard of, would be too much for the average back yard). Soon to be the latest craze. Walked together they are great coversation starters with fellow owners. Unfortunately they are a magnet for hippies, "Life Coaches" & crusty old ethnic mystics of every stripe. The presence of these people is likely to cause disruptive behaviour in your charges. This is normal! PAY NO HEED TO THEIR KEEPING ADVICE. Just smile politely and move on and they'll be back to normal in no time.

[sarcasm mode] Cute Kolya. Mildly amusing, but so far from the topic, and I'm sure a delight to Muzman, who has had the good sense not to get into this. [/sarcasm mode] :cheeky:
