This has probably been mentioned, but after viewing that video, it seems fairly obvious they changed the HUD because of the Xbox. The overscan on a TV screen would push some of those graphics off screen. Major suckage!

Why? The developers did say they built the game from day one with a console in mind. Of course, if they had once an unobtrusive interface, and changed it to what we have now, we can only wonder if an interface represents such a big chunk of work that they rather tailoured PC game to a TV screen instead of making a different interface for the box.

READ MY SIG - DX2 was primarily designed for the xbox, ie a console, ie consolized.
Why is it so hard to understand that DX2 sucks on the pc cuase it was designed for a console? All of the design decisions were tailored to the xbox and it's audience.
