Or you culd have done it yourself, which would have been much easier :-)
(The current GMT+1 is listed at the bottom of threads)

Hm .. isn't one's local time shown at the bottom of the threads? Because you, dragonclaw, and I live in the same timezone, CET (central european time). And AFAIK IIRC ASO you can enter your GMT offset in your profile. Or maybe the website asks the OS for it. I cannot imagine that someone on Rhode Island sees GMT +1. What's his benefit?
Oh boy. CET AFAIK IIRC ASO GMT OS. Whoo :weird: Where's the fainted smiley with spirals above his head? ;)

Yeah, my fault. Forgot about the offset in your options.
The advantage/benefit would be clearly this: That you have a time to put posts into the right time. I've been to Forums where there's a time listed on the site at each post, but it says nowhere what time it is right now.

I meant: What would be his benefit? (If he saw GMT +1 = CET)

Isn't your sig awfully Bavarian?

The advantage of seeing "All times are GMT+1" would be to know exactly
what time it is. Not needed, but a nice add.
