I have a memory of a movie I saw when I was really young (not even sure how old I was, 6-8 years old range maybe) and it scared the shit out of me back then. I've been thinking about it recently for some reason and would love to track it down. Here's all I know about it; It was about a guy who talks to a statue (or it could have been a painting), the statue doesn't actually talk ,but the guy can hear it's voice in his head (the guy is nuc), and it tells him to do stuff. I think he eventualy kills someone and digs up a grave for the body, and the whole thing takes place at some cabin (not sure about that). Anyway, maybe you guys have an idea or some leads (also, I am prutty sure it was an Enlgish language film).

I don't know about that movie, but I'm going to jump on to the bandwagon and ask for people to track me down this movie! I saw it when I was a kid (~15 years ago?) and can't remember much from it. Extremely likely a US movie. The stars of the movie were 2-5 college/university dudes in KERRRAZY ADVENTURES I think - towards the end of the movie, for some reason they go to a dinosaur museum where the big buggers are alive and the whole building has turned into a jungle, really. I believe the accurate name for the genre of this film is Jollygood 80s Adventure.
That's all and possibly not very helpful, but I must know what this movie is!

:laff: That actually made me laugh.
Anyway thanks piln, "Pin..." sounds exactly like it, I was very sketchy about the details, especialy the Cabin part, but Pin seems seems to be it. I looked for a trailer and pics from "Pin" to see if anything rings a bell, but couldn't find anything. Either way, I think I am gona order it from Amazon tonight. :D

Are you sure it was a movie? Because there was a Twilight Zone episode about this german guy who takes orders from a painting of Hitler (the painting speaks but doesn't move, and only he hears it). He ends up killing a Jewish guy that he's known for a while because the painting tells him to do so, then Hitler tries to get him to restart the Nazi movement, but the police (or whatever they're called in Germany) get to him first.
[EDIT] Unless, of course, you've already decided that it was Pin..... *smacks himself for not reading the whole thread*

In Pin the "talking thing" is a medical dummy. It might not be the one you were thinking of, but it's pretty good anyway... it has dated badly in a couple of places, but it still has its good points, some extremely good scenes and a fine performance from David Hewlett.
Prepare yourself for some inexcusable 80s hair and shoulder pads.
