i'm also having trouble with my weight but thats probably because i'm carying 2 pistols (a normal one & the one that could take down an elephant according to the info), 3 assault rifles (the green 'sniper' assault rifle, the grey submachine gun & the other green rifle most ai's have in the beginning) & the sawn off shotgun if i'm dealing with those flying bastards who are throwing things at me
each with their own ammo but if i only could get my hands on that tourist suit.. ^^

normally no, but since i had a peek allready at some of the different endings, yeah i do (normally i don't do that but i want to have a good one, but it seems thats kinda impossible..)

The good endings aren't hard to get. Just make sure you finish the "meet Guide" sidequest, and then do what comes after that.

Has the cropping issue while using widescreen resolutions been fixed?
Also, does the game support 1280 x 738?

I don't have a widescreen monitor, but I think I remember something about it being fixed in a patch's changelog. Might want to check yourself.

I was on my way to do some brain scorcher thing and ran across both Duty and Freedom fighters. I decided to do the quests for Freedom for some reason and completed 2 of them. However when I went to do the one to help some commander with fighting off Monolith soldiers I think I completed the quest, however when I went to talk to the Commander (Cap I think?) he's dead. Anything I can do and is it important?

That quest isn't critical. When you accomplish it all you get is money. I've never had Cap dying during that mission, so I don't know what other option do you have. Perhaps you can try talking to Lukash, and see if that will allow you to complete the mission.
There's an instance a bit later on where Duty and Freedom have a shootout outside Prypiat. Even though I killed a camp full of Duty soldiers, they still acted neutral towards me in that fight.
