Yes, do you people know any websites where I could download some music from Deus Ex? I found couple of tracks on Deusex-machina's homepages, but I would like to get some more. The musics of that game are just so great.

I have all of the Deus Ex music on two CD's and they are nice to listen to every once in a while. You can use a program called ModPlug to rip the music from its .umx format and convert to a .wav file. You can get this file at (

Additionally, most of the music is in full (sometimes, sometimes not) remixed glory on the second CD in the Game of the Year Edition package. It seems like a lot of money to put out for a soundtrack CD, but the price has lowered considerably and you should be able to find it for between $15-20. It's an excellent buy!

Indeed: it was precisely for that soundtrack CD that I bought Deus Ex: GOTY edition, even though I already had the game (I'd bought a Sound Blatser Audigy X-Gamer card, which is advertised to come with DX:GOTY, but I was quite disappointed when I found it only comes with the game disc). I especially like the CD's remix of the Main Menu theme.

Or you could use a WinAMP <INS><A HREF="http://www.winamp.com/plugins/detail.jhtml;$sessionid$JTAIYYT20I01G5YAAAARCZY?componentId=49627">plugin</A></INS> and gain the ability to play tracks from Deus Ex, UT and Unreal directly, without converting them into MP3s and losing 3 times the space in the process. ;)
