WCarnation,
Quite a few people played the games out of sequence for various reasons. And others have only played one or the other--again, for various reasons. No reason to believe someone's first encounter with a specific type of AI had to be in the first game.:)
However...if people keep forgetting, maybe it's because they want to.:o

It was an appropriate response to me. When I played SS2, I hadn't played SS1 yet ... so I had no idea where these guys were coming from and found them a little too far out of left-field. I really didn't get why they were there suddenly in the grand scheme of things, even owing that they were there for the cool-factor. Later knowing they were there from SS1 ... well, really no matter how you slice it it's hard to avoid the idea that cyborg ninja assassins are there as nerd-service. :D But at least they had a little more backstory now.

Nerd service, yeah :cheeky: Just like the cyborgs from SS1 are looking exactly like the borg from Star Trek

ViiRaptor, a better question would be, have you ever seen the SEARCH button?
RocketMan on 7/1/2008 at 17:13
Its even simpler than that.....if a game has been out for nearly 10 years and the easter egg in question is one that the player can see in plain view without having to access a secret area or do some remotely challenging or unusual task don't even bother wondering if anyone else has seen it. THEY HAVE.

SPOILER TAGS DAMMIT!!!
Now you've ruined the game for me :(
RocketMan on 7/1/2008 at 23:13
That was for me wasn't it?
D'Arcy on 8/1/2008 at 00:34
No, it was for ViiRaptor. He was the one who gave away that super secret Easter egg :(

Dude, I'm really sorry D'Arcy. That dancing droid was sort of the critical point of SS2 and knowing all that it... it's just not worth playing anymore. Sorry man :(
