Moin,
<UL><LI>
I got an invisible spider! ARG! *screams are echoing along the dark corridors*
I don't know how it happened, but I could hear her, but not see her! At some point she poisened me but I still couldn't see here. After some frantic running around she popped into view very suddenly, only to vanish again after a second or two.
Then one more bite and I was dead :/
After reloading, the game crashed when I lured the small spider into the fire.
<LI>There are torches right beneath a wooden beam or bar. Damn, that can get a hot spot really fast. No wonder their underworld is in ruines ;)
<LI>blood of a rat on the floor is not drawn (sometimes) when you crouch - stand up again and it is there again.
<LI>The blood vanishes a bit too fast...
<LI>Rats really have problems with slopes.
<LI>Throwing an object in different directions should be possible, right now it is independend from where your mouse points
<LI>As mentioned by someone else, the mouse cursor can get off-screen when entering magic mode.
<LI>On the plus side, when in magic mode you can also draw the runes when your cursor is not visible. Hm. Drawing them behind your back so that your opponent isn't seeing them? ;)
<LI>It is possible to draw valid runes with only a few pixels. There should be a minimum length or size.
<LI>Right-clicking onto an empty space in the inventory puts you in mouselook. It shouldn't just because you missed an objects. Also, the mouse pointers check-point is slightly off, it is very easy to miss objects in the inventory
</UL>
Anyway, just killing my time until Arx comes finally out ;)
Cheers,
Tels

Some more tor the collection:
<UL>
</LI>
Grind fern to fern-powder. Right-click or doubel-click onto it (I forgot which) and it simple vanishes
</UL>
Missing features:
<UL>
<LI>We can't eat rats ;)
<LI>We can't make pizza ;)
<LI>Poisonous cake? Dough with lilly pulver (even if it makes you just sick)? These could be feed to the dog, for instance to kill it, or make it sleep (for some possible guard dogs?)
<LI>Can't grind bones, either.
<LI>Can't grind mushrooms, or make a cooked mushroom (come on, that guy eats rawmushroom [without funny effects], but refuses to eat raw fish? Even if he starves to death?
<LI>Can't pick up arrows sticking in surfaces. Should be "broken arrow" and then you can repair it (Take arrow shaft, chicken feathers, small sharp stone, some sticky stuff, and make arrow)
<LI>The plants you can't pick up: Looks like you could use it as pipe-weed...but no pipe in sight and you can't pick them up ...:-P
</UL>
Anyway, you can tell that I am in love with that game ;-P

Another bug is if you use incinerate on something, and when it goes off you're not near the victum, it'll look like everyone went fine, but it actually does no damage.

Some more bugs:
<UL>
<LI>
Fern powder: Confirmed, if you try to apply it to a bottle of water, it vanishes. Lilly powder doesn't do this ;)
<LI>These red gems, they add a yellow glow to the weapon (no idea what this is good for). Anyway, doing it twice to the same weapon just makes the second gem disappear (I think Am Shagars commentar "Now this is interesting" is quite to the point ;)
<LI>When you have your book open, and your inventory, and you use something with something you have equipped (or try to use it, I am not sure), then you get duplicated items.
For instance, I had suddenly two leggins, one equipped and one in my hand to drop.
Or in another case, I had initially two normal daggers, one equipped, one in my inventory. I did the "gem-add" on the dagger I had equipped,and suddenly I had one equipped (with yellow glow), and one yellow glowing in my hand which I could add to my inventory. The normal dagger was still there, too.
<LI>
Mice are running under water. Ohhhh...
<LI>I managed to throw a bench into a corner-wall at the upper outpost entrance. The bench vanished, so I couldn't find it again or move it. However, the invisible bench was still blocking the entry, so I couldn't get into the doorway anymore :/
<LI>
You can give Kuldar a healing potion and a weapon (not sure if you need to do this in this order). But he takes the weapon *only* if you give it him during the fight - afterwards he doesn't take it. Well, that is not the bug. The bug is that whenever you die during that fight, and Kuldar kills the Goblin Lord *while you are dying* (which is more likely when he has a weapon ;), then the game crashes right to the desktop. That happened to me a couple of times in a row...
</UL>
I hope this helps and I didn't ruin the day of the dev team ;)

i honestly think that they should make Arx a public beta or get some more (better) testers because we've found so many bugs and problems ....its as though they didn't even know about them (either that or they just didn't bother to fix them)...what about the other areas and objects and situations (ie the rest of the game)?
...oh yeah, they can make patches..forgot about those ;)
Heres a new list, in addition to my (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45565) other one (more minor things):
* Any weapon that you see should be usable, such as the axe and other little axe next to the anvil (only the hammer sitting atop it was usable)
* Shouldn't it require a hammer in addition to an anvil to repair something? In the demo it only requires an anvil alone
* The leather armor/clothing is bugged when you try to take it off (the pants part more specific). When you try to take them off you're just given a clone of of them and leaves them on
...i'll probably add more later ;)

Incinerating the guy with the poisoned dagger upstairs in the tavern will kill him, and then activate the conversation script, resulting in Am Shaegar speaking with the corpse lying under the table.

I was running behind the goblin (poked him just for fun) and he had no problem with corners, but there were no stairs. He ran screaming "Help!" for about 100 m, then suddenly turned and attacked me. Scared the hell out of me...
Didn't play with the Ylside yet, want to keep that for the final game...
Cheers,
Tels

Dude, you discovered "bone talk" ;)
I agree, a new demo will probably appear when the final game is out, but then too many bugs will remain. I am not pessimistic, but the number we found in even this small areas is quite high *waves to Raf*
