Some help with T2 FMSel

Howdy all! Just looking for a quick bit of advice....

I have the GOG install of T2 (1.25 NDS). I removed the recommended semicolon from the .ini file to have the FMSel run automatically when the game is started. The FMSel starts and appears to be fine, but anyway I stry to start a game from there (play FM, start FM, skip FM) does nothing. If put the semicolon back in, the game starts just fine. So essentially, I can't start the game through FMSel and, thus, cannot play FMs. I tried unistalling GOG Galaxy, but no difference. Any thoughts or experience with a similar issue? Haven't tried deleting game and doing a fresh install yet as I am abroad and don't have reliable wifi.

In the zip, there's another zip -- contrib.zip
Open it and put the content into the T2 main folder.

ee not sure whether putting the SS2 version of NewDark into a T2 install is such a good idea.
