It's possible this got already mentioned, but a search came up with nothing:
For those who haven't noticed it already:
If you're having a hard time keeping track of your quests in the journal and don't like the very limited search functions, then take a closer look at your Morrowind folder. There's a file called Journal.htm that allows a much more comfortable way to browse the numerous entries outside the game.

There's also a quest organizer you can get at <a href=http://www.morrowindfiles.com/>Morrowind Files</a> or <a href=http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/>Morrowind Summit</a>.(Morrowind summit's database has been really buggy lately...)
