Summary: with a minor modification in the spoiler code we can increase usability for Opera users dramatically.
Highlighting spoiler text doesn't work in Opera like in other graphical browsers. Not that there is a standard which prescribes what happens with foo colour on same colour text in graphical browsers - this is a decision the software author makes by whim. By exploiting a feature that is inherent to only few, but wide-spread software, it was a matter of course that minorities had to suffer the consequences.
Opera users see yellow on yellow when highlighting the spoiler. Text has to be copied and pasted to the adress bar, or if it was a longer passage, into another application to be made visible. What a chore!
I therefore propose the following hack to circumvent that problem. It is based on the weakness of the human eye of being incapable of distinguishing similar shades of a basic colour (example: websafe palette).
Darth Vader is really Luke's father.
results in
Darth Vader is really Luke's father.
Longer text passage:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.
The contrast in the highlighted text is not very high (grey on yellow), but it is better than nothing and suffices for such short texts. The hack is backward compatible and doesn't break in the browsers which display the highlighted text white on blue.
Try it out!

*Sticks her chest out at NAANHehe, anyway... I was unaware there was even an issue with the spoier code and Opera until now (hard to address a problem you don't know exists, y'know?). Buuut, being the accomodating sort of
guy that I am, I have implemented Daxim's color suggestions into the custom spoiler code... 'ave a looksee

The Butler did it.
Spoiler:
"Oh, I've had such a curious dream!" said Alice, and she told her sister, as well as she could remember them, all these strange Adventures of hers that you have just been reading about; and when she had finished, her sister kissed her, and said, "It WAS a curious dream, dear, certainly: but now run in to your tea; it's getting late." So Alice got up and ran off, thinking while she ran, as well she might, what a wonderful dream it had been.

edit: That's didn't come out like intended. Hm.
Single figure RGB triples only work in CSS, not in the HTML attribute color. Please use either a double figure triple for the font element () or forego text decoration through HTML altogether and use the style exactly as I wrote it up there.
