I was over at (
http://www.morrowind.nl) Morrowind.nl and saw that they had a map of Solstheim up... I can't read dutch (or whatever language that site is) but I'm guessing this is the map that will be shipped with the game. Looks a bit empty though...
Btw, has Bloodmoon been released yet? I haven't been able to get to Best Buy... or anywhere else really. Ah well, here's the map for those who don't have it yet.
(

EDIT: Yep, it came off of the official Elder Scrolls site. It's on the page on map making at the very bottom.

It has been released in the US as far as I know. But there is some review with Ashley Cheng and he said something about wanting to make it a land with thousands of dungeons, monsters and stuff like that. A powergamers heaven, with almost no safe spots.

WOO! You guys better tell me how good it is when you get it. I'm near invincible and I'm only level 45. I won't be getting Bloodmoon until atleast friday...

You guys better not tell me how good it is. I won't be getting it until at least another month.

Fascinating map, that......looks like Solstheim is a pretty decent size-much bigger than Mournhold, that's for sure. I eagerly anticipate hours of exploring with Vivec at my side-hope he doesn't freak out if I turn into a werewolf in front of him.
You've whetted my appetite now. I want to get my mitts on Bloodmoon a.s.a.p.....what with that and the new Tomb Raider, I think I'm going to be living permanently in front of the PC for a couple of months! :)
The daedric script across the top of the map appears to read "In Imperial Territory". I thought Solstheim was part of Skyrim? Does that belong to the Imperials as well, then?

I think one of the main plot arcs is the setup of an Imperial colony. There's certainly a legion stationed there - Fort Frostmoth.
And apparently the island around 1/5th the size of Vvardenfell.
I want to go sliding on the glacier! :D
RyushiBlade on 5/6/2003 at 23:01
I thought Solstheim was located north of Vvardenfell? That would put it in Morrowind Territory... So I don't see why they can't try to make it an imperial colony. I don't think the Nords'll like it too much though.

All of the provinces of Tamriel are part of the Empire - this includes both Morrowind AND Skyrim!
Though I believe that the future of Tamriel will be more chaotic as it could seem that the empire is crumbling at the edges...

Wait let me get this striaght:
in Bloodmoon you adventure on an island called Solstheim, which seems to be at least as big as Vvardenfell.
But Skyrim itself is a huge district, larger even than Morrowind?
Anyway that's an increibly kewl map; I can't wait to own it on paper, then my collection will be complete! ;)
