Is this a Deus Ex mod, or is it just using the same UI elements for everything?

Like, how is the DLC mission supposed to work? Is it an additional quest that will be seamlessly added to the main game or is it a side-story involving a different character and taking place at a different time/place?
It is more like a prologue, a side story involving a different character, at a different time but near the same locations, totally new level though.

And what do you have in mind for "Deep-Space Exploration" and "Extended Quest System"?
We have
many of the foundations of a framework for a "full" rpg game, all working as a system. Custom coded Kismet of Unreal Engine is a breeze for such tasks. However, how we show those "framework" to the player is the real work and where things matter most. We toyed with the idea of "Why all survival-horrors has to be "isolated", why can't we interact with npcs to receive certain quests and then experience the horror in a more balanced way?"
As soon as we reach that level, we can add more coders to the team and actualize all of these with some input from the community as well. RPG quests become repetitive easily and survival-horror linearity all through from start to end can become repetitive as well, we want to experiment to overcome this. Perhaps original Stalker somewhat aimed this and managed in a way, but these are really time-consuming tasks.
There is also the problem : If you hop from one "space station to another space station orbiting another planet", then perhaps, the sense of "horror" diminishes a bit because in most cases for horror to work, the player has to be stuck in certain location, for the most part.

There will be new video shortly showing the new, finalized HUD and UI elements. Those you see in the videos are a thing of the past now.

Not much in the way of money backed so far by people. Hope things improve.

It does not seem to be getting much media coverage on gaming sites.

I expect this sort of thing is going to be de rigueur for kickstarters from now on. For most of them anyway. They're going to be looked at slightly askance from multiple angles: It's not enough money, it's too much money, the updates aren't coming quick enough, the team isn't big enough.
It's the internet. Everyone gets to be a costings, marketing and management expert and scam buster all in one.

Yeah, you really need to get SOMEONE to cover this if you want to make the goal.

Both Kiss and ourselves have been sending press releases crazy. People do share on twitter, it is just that people don't want to throw money in at the moment.
And the big sites are blind to it at the moment, even though RPS shouldn't, but they are. We've sent several emails to them.

Backed - it'll be interesting to see how much the total goes up after the recent positive press.
