Prison Break: Season 1 was silly, but entertaining; Season 2 was meh; Season 3 was a big pile of poo.
I just finished watching the
West Wing (which Jimmy Smits didn't fuck up, thankyouverymuch ). As SD mentioned, all 7 Seasons for £50, you can't go wrong. Great show, even though a few too many characters (
http://westwing.wikia.com/wiki/Mandyville) went to Mandyville over the course of the series.
House also never fails to entertain me, even if the show's a tad formulaic.

Boston Legal, at the moment.

I loved a lot of Boston Legal, but it's over. It also showed Shat and Spader aren't over with either.

I just have to say, out of all the law shows out there, Boston Legal is the absolute worst of the bunch in terms of getting lawyering right. It's not even close, and almost embarrasing to watch the courtroom scenes.
I do like the characters, though.

You are right about "the law". But the show is a laugh from start to finish, and the chats on the balcony worth waiting an hour to hear.
If you want "the Law" there are a lot of shows that attempt it. If you want a fun session with some off-beat characters, then Spader and Shatner are it.

Boston Legal is funny but I rarely get to watch it, Lost is taking up most of my time now, it lost me for a while back in S3 but when Sky took their channels off of Virgin's package I missed it, luckily they still had OD rights so we got to watch it eventually. No other show is like it, I think you're really missing out if you want to wait to get it on DVD or BD, it's all about the community, the theories are what makes the show really interesting and the only people you can share those theories with are those people who are as up-to-date as you are.
QI is also a great show, it's not as good as previous series' but it's still great. I'm missing Bill Bailey though, any TV show is 10 times better when he's in it.

A tad? Every week I'm all like "I bet someone's gonna get sick in this episode". And you know what? Every week, I'm usually right.
