or the hat's perception increase (nowt covering your ears, for a start),
I thought it's because the hat and baseball cap are shielding your eyes from the sharp sun, no? Stormchaser hat covers your ears anyway.
Specific dress has impact on my character (as usual I went for creation of my favourite ranger/stalker "class"), but it falls short to create an impression for me that I'm playing a specialist, because there are fewer specialist perks like "Thief", "Medic", "Scout" with low SPECIAL prerequisites and more of the generic ones oriented at combat ("Action Boy" etc.). A good idea for roleplaying are the appartment themes, in fact I have improved my Wasteland Explorer theme considerably (and I should post piccies eventually...).

Cons: Doesn't give you head
Fallout 3 was a little reticent about the idea at first. But a bit of flirting, a couple beers, and slap on the ass later...

I got a bit sick afterwords. It was mostly dawning realization, though.

I ended up using my workbench to combine 5 stimpacks, a motorcycle gastank, and medical tubing into a cath...ew, nevermind.

Short, sweet and true: A solid game. OD'd after about 10 hours due to overdose of repetition and boredom. Custom music added some more playtime though. No match against Stalker, though strangely enough the latter has the weaker quests.

Fallout 3 reminds me somehow of those really old games that I enjoyed so much: The Legacy, Lands of Lore etc. In short, great experience, probably the best game since Stalker and certainly one of the best games ever. :thumb:

I'm with bukary on this one.

Love it. Finished the main quest yesterday, but I've still got plenty of exploring to do, and probably a good bunch of sidequests, too (already gotten through a fair bit of 'em). Really fun to play, decent enough character progression, reasonably atmospheric, some very neat sidequests... and I suppose I'm missing stuff, but long story short - worth it. Oh, and it has a the GECK construction set, which in the hands of the community it shares with the Oblivion modding scene, should provide for a bright future. Screw it, I really think this is my GOTY for last year.

SHORT!?
Ahem, out of interest, what would you consider a long game?
