I'm not sure if this is a right forum to ask this, I hope it is.
I use T2 on my new machine for several months now. I applied ddfix and widescreen patch to play in 1920x1080 resolution. Everything works fine except one issue that I find a bit strange. It is that anytime I read a readable like book or scroll ingame my graphic card cooler goes to very high speed, which is noticable because it becomes quite loud on highest RPM rate. Like it would be some extremaly high quality 3D view to display for grapfic unit, which obviously it is not. Why does it happen? Anyone else experiances this issue?

As I wrote it in an other thread, I can confirme this issue on my Radeon HD3850 :erg:

ATI Radeon 4800 series graphic card here :nono: Thanks for reply :thumb: So it's probably Radeon related issue or something...

This is caused by the blitting that's being done in a tight loop. There's no reason that I can think of why this would be Radeon specific.
Anyways, please check if (
http://jermi.dyndns.org/~jermi/stuff/Thief/ddfix_1.3.11.3.zip) this version of ddfix solves the problem for you. It does for me (HD4850).

Many thanks, I'll try that. :thumb: But is it possible to port your ddfix modifications to SIO2 latest release? Because I have Win7 and don't want miss the fog. By the way: What's with him and the source code? Has anybody still contact with SIO2? You and SIO2 have done a fantastic job and it's a shame, when the players have to switch between the versions. ;)
