So what exactly is the Multiplayer stuff anyways? I tried using it but it was talking about IPs and stuff so I didn't see what it is, but what is it?

Are you for real?
RiderLeangle on 19/2/2008 at 00:59
Yeah, Whats in it, Is it just a big go in and kill each other or co-op or something. What is it?

It's quite entertaining, actually. I spent quite a few hours in multiplayer SS2 last night.
The readme included with the patch should tell you more. Have you completed the single-player game yet?

What patch?
And no, I haven't beaten the campaign yet.
flexbuster on 19/2/2008 at 02:54
Campaign?
Is SS3 a real-time war strategy now?
RiderLeangle on 19/2/2008 at 02:59
I thought that was the term for single player of FPS games, I haven't played too many First Person Shooters and thats what it was called in Halo so I thought that might have been the term for FPS single player game modes.

You're using a pirated copy, so it's patched already, which means that you never applied the patch (MP was added to the game with a patch). I don't know if the warez version includes the patch readme file or not. MP is played co-op, it's not a death match.
RiderLeangle on 19/2/2008 at 18:26
Huh, I thought that it was already a feature of the game (it looked real enough), so I checked in the files, next to the basic game Readme it had something labeled Readmep which was the multiplayer replay. But co-op isn't really my thing, so I guess I'll skip it.

"Looked real enough"? It is real. It was simply enabled through the game's official patch, as it wasn't ready for the game's initial release. Is that fake in your book?
