What do you mean, christian neo pagans with saints statues and pictures?
And worshiping on sundays instead of saturdays?

What's not to like about an immature Scorcese and Tarantino influenced action film with ridiculously over the top setpieces involving two Boston boys playing religious vigilantes with wildly variable accents chased by a flamboyantly gay FBI agent played by Willem Dafoe with a lategame appearance from a scenery chewing Billy Connelly?
My issues with the film can basically be summarized as follows: it's an amateurish mess that doesn't really work on any level. If you can get into it as hammy trash, hey, who am I to judge? I mean that sincerely, and can even get behind your take on the movie (even if it didn't work on that level for me).
But most fans of the movie I've encountered have a remarkably less savvy take on the film and actually consider it to be an example of good cinema. Well okay then, I'll just deposit my respect for your opinions in the trash on my way out, thanks.

It's essentially a "so bad it's good" flick imo.

I have no doubt that a couple bottles of wine and and a viewing in your living room would have me utterly converted

Regardless, RT rates Boondock Saints II at a whopping 21% fresh... head and shoulders above its predecessor at 16%.
I'm excited!
