Except ... who is your manager going to be, now Hiddink is off to Russia? I know you're going to qualify through the Asian group now (wtf), but no doubt it'll ultimately come down to playoff with a 5th-placed South American nation again. Can you get someone cunning enough to sneak you through this fixture?

Yes, Liverpool fans know plenty of the raw passion for football that they have in Italy - they have the scars to prove it! Riding around on vespas slashing buttocks with Stanley knives would appear to be the most favoured manoeuvre, although the good old "Turin smile" is also employed from time to time.
I dread to think what would have happened if they lost...

My sister is studying in Rome at the moment. She really didn't want Italy to win the World Cup because she has an exam today, and the subsequent partying would keep her awake all night.
As it turns out, she didn't get much sleep last night, but it didn't matter because apparently the entire class was automatically passed. :D
