So has anyone figured out yet why Zidane did that? Matterazzi obviously said something really bad to him.
I'm guessing it was about Zidane's flourishing hairstyle...a well-known sore topic for the French.

Materazzi is a bit of a throwback to classic 1980s Italian centre-halves (ie; frequently violent, use anything to get an edge, piss off the strikers), so I'd estimate it was some stunning vitriol about:
~ Zidane's mum
~ His heritage
~ France in general
~ His pets
~ His sweaty head
Maybe even all in one choice phrase.
Or I could be doing him a great disservice and it was just "good luck in your retirement, Zizou!"
Does anyone have a picture of the World Cup with that oversized Italian hat on it? That was class.
