That was Frank Rijkaard.
Anyway, shouldnt the real issue here be, what have the Dutch ever given us to make us support them?
Fuck their "total football" attitude - where has that ever gotton the Scottish National team.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy kills puppies anyway.

We do? But I fucking love Dietmar Hamann and I'm hopeful that I will grow to love Gabriel Paletta too :(
Well, maybe not in your case, but I think a lot of people have absolutely
no problem with supporting a particular individual from a foreign country at club level whilst despising that person's national team (including him in it) when it comes to the World Cup. I mean, that's the thing with the World Cup: it's national teams competing, so there's a limit on who can be part of that team, whereas that limit has now at club level almost disappeared. But then again, considering how Germany has two Polish strikers in its team, and Japan played with a Brazilian-born midfielder, that might no longer hold true either. ;)

See? I'm supposed to be hatin' the Dutch, but I can't even get the incident right which should have me hating them.
Although killing puppies is taking it One Step Too Far TM!!!

Anything that says Australia play more fairly than England gets my seal of approval :thumb:

The World Cup is finally over for the german team. The third place is an excellent result.
Thank you, Jürgen Klinsmann, for your work!
Thank you, Klose & Podolski, for 8 beautyful goals.
Thank you, Lehmann, for making Maradona cry.
Thank you for 7 great games!

Wow, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the game tonight. I was in a pub in Covent Garden and it was very funny to see all the English supporters leaping and whooping in the air when Germany scored, and booing and hissing when Portugal got their goal.
Still, it was a fantastic game - although I suspect the final wont be anywhere near as exciting as todays was.
(note: I still managed to shout out COME ON SCOTLAND! to the amusement of some nearby Swedes).
