Because you voted for them?
David on 27/5/2006 at 18:06
Indeed that is why.
D'Arcy on 27/5/2006 at 18:30
Well, that's a feature I didn't know about.

Well, on that note I want to ask a non England related question (gasp) - what is the opinions of the TTLGers on Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Decent enough player, a little past his best.
Ahahaha they're totally fucked. Patrick Viera must be seriously pissed off.
D'Arcy on 27/5/2006 at 19:42
Past his best? The man is 25! I think he's an excellent player, although a bit messed up in the head...

Ibrahimovic is quite often brilliant - you can't judge him on those shambolic Juve performances against Arsenal.
Kudos to Sweden for managing to field a guy called "Ibrahimovic" too ;)

Even though they ruin it by always calling him by his first name. :weird:
As far as I've saw he's a good player but makes some mistakes, but I was wondering if anyone had saw more of him.

We have one underway here - (
http://fantasyfootball.metro.co.uk) :)
I'm assuming they allow entries from all over the world ...
If you've played any of the Premier League fantasy seasons, everything should be pretty familiar. If not, you choose a squad of 12 (one sub who'll automatically switch with anyone who doesn't play for whatever reason) and they score points in the usual way (defenders get points for clean sheets, and lots for scoring goals, etc - plus you select a captain who scores double).
The code for our league is: available on pm!
All welcome!

Cool, thanks! Joining now. I've tried to get another pool going with friends of mine, but nobody knows anything about soccer and they aren't willing to research any of the teams. I tried telling them this is a great way to learn about a sport that nobody in Canada cares about, but... meh.
