Damned Trinadad and Tobego ruining my fun :mad:
Hahah, that was amazing! :D It was great to see their fans celebrating after the game, it must have been a big moment for them. Not a bad game for a goalless draw either, a million times more exciting than the awful England Vs Paraguay match too.
T&T battled bravely and even though they had one player less on the second half, they deserved to get a draw from this. Go Trinidad&Tobago go!
I quite like Argentina, I always supported them when I was a kid, but it'd be great to see Ivory Coast to do well too...

Once they brought Allback on as a striker and dropped Larsson to the midfield, they started getting more chances and Allback hit them all straight to the keeper.
Allback did a convincing job of reproducing his Aston Villa form! Well, it was either that, or his Stuart Barlow impression.
Incidentally, it never ceases to baffle me how the Swedish team always does so well against England, yet its players (with a very few exceptions) are typically unmitigated failures when they play in the English league.
Anyway, with just 15 minutes to go in match #5, I might finally get a scoreline right! 2-0 Argies was my pre-match predicition...
[EDIT: Cuntflaps. And it was Didier Dogshit too... :nono:]

Riquelme gives me spontaneous orgasms.
{edit} The "assists" definition in this Metro game is really tight. Just because the ball slightly bobbled around before falling to Crespo, apparently that means Riquelme doesn't get the assist for his free kick. I was expecting points for two lovely assists, not just one. Bah, BAH I SAY! Still, I suppose it's going to be ludicrously harsh for every other player too. {/edit}

I was happy with the scoreline there; 2-1 wins it for Argentina while the Ivory Coast prove a point. The play was encouraging by the Argies and I'm sure my bet on them winning it has an alright chance.

JOY!!!!
That would be Australia 3 Japan 1 now that I've calmed down. Three goals in the last 8 minutes :D

Guus Hiddink is basically a miracle-worker, isn't he?
(I understand you'd be happy, but could you remove a couple of letters and kill the double-scroller? ;))

Looks like a certain angelic stick figurine takes another victory in the polls. Where did this come from anyway? I just voted for her because "ololol FOOTBALL CRAZY, I DONT PLAY BUT I WILL WATCH WITH BEER AND HAVE STUPID FLAGS ON MY CAR!!!" pisses me off.

Those final minutes in the Japan vs.Australia game were really entertaining :)
Unsurprisingly, the US were crushed by the czech. I just hope that Koller's injury isn't serious, since I'd love to see them go far in the tournament.
