<b>For those in a hurry</b>:
Check out the mp3's on the site...
<b>For those that care, or are interested in a CD</b>:
I started coming up with some ideas for completely live guitar performance last summer whilst being bored to shit out in the countryside. I was going to record a bunch of stuff and get it out during the winter of '05, but the academic year was heavy. At any rate, I finally got round to recording it straight to a friends laptop and spent a little while mixing and refining the recordings, the result of which has been printed to jewel case CD with colour artwork by the lovely people at <a href="http://www.short-run.co.uk">Short Run</a>. The recording is called "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oroborus">Oroborus</a>", which is a direct reference to the ancient symbol for the "tail-devourer" serpent.
The oroborus is found in many cultures and typically reflects the concept of infinity or endlessness. Good god, I hope the latter is a word. It also symbolically represents the ring-like structure of the Milky Way galaxy, our home in this vast sea of of surreal black shit. The music reflects this, being for the most part repetitive and "static". It does not tell a story or progress in a conventional linear motion like much music, but rather it exists within a single moment in time, a "sound-field", like a photograph that attempts to describe a grand, timeless view that stretches billions of years into the past.
Anyhoo, it's pretty chillax stuff and I have a number of CD's floating about that I'd like to send to some of you TTLGer's, especially those who have taken an interest in my music in the past. If you're interested in a copy, sample the MP3's on the site to see if it's your kind of thing and post here and send me an email or a PM with your address and I will send it as soon as I can. There might be a wait for some of you since I am not the richest person in the world but I assure you that if you ask and I have enough CD's left you will receive something eventually!

Excellent: extremely relaxing. Why does extremely not seem to fit well with the word relaxing? Anywho, Im assuming the cd contains more tracks?

Man, I'm loving the whole concept of this. Never let it be said that such things do not affect the reception to the music.
I'll be begging a cd from you! Would you be adverse to me possibly using my immense journalistic power (laffo) and doing a bit of a write-up? Probably not a full review, but there's a column for vinyl, EPs and internet based releases--200 words kinda thing. Only if you don't mind. And also if I'm allowed to cover a release by someone I "know" and so on and so on.

It's well made that's for sure.
add-up: As I'm listening to your second song I see a ray of light moving towards me.

Yeah, of course, drop me your details. It'd be fucking awesome if you could manage to feature my music in a review of some kind, to be sure. And I'm sure you'll be very honest. This release is a stepping point for me, it's just to get a few CD's out there and get some music off my chest - after Uni has finished I would like to try and make a career (however how small) of this so any appreciation, coverage and criticism is deeply required!
EDIT: I hope you understand what my babbling in the first post is going on about, my ability to write good english has deteriorated and as a result it doesn't sound particularly interesting, but hopefully the "photograph" analogy helps

Honestly Noid, this is some cool shit you've got here. Sounds good for a calm drive in the countryside, or a soothing listen at 1:00 am. Would you ship to Canada?

I don't care how stupid a word chillax is, this is my kind of music. All shimmery and wooden and warm. Put me at the bottom of your list for when you get the spare change to ship to the far west of the US. And thanks for sharing.

Good to see these tracks back up again! And with a rather nice replacement for the somewhat lack-luster track from last time. Bonus!
