I'd play Thief if I had a computer to play it on, instead of these public university machines. I don't have to play the games all the way through. Just firing up a mission or two scratches the itch, especially when I'm working on fanfic and want to get in the mood.
Sometimes all it takes for me is watching the movie files or listening to the conversation *.wav's and my imagination can take over.
Now that I can pop the TDS soundtrack CD in, I can sit down with a pad of paper and get in the fantasy mode when I'm away from a computer.
I'll never get bored with Thief, though it may be knocked off the top of my list by something else along the way.

I still come back to the old LG favourites once or twice a year each. Thief the most actually, as I didn't play it in the first place until 2003.
